Drinking coffee is not a sin.

i wouldn't call it a sin. but it's not a health food either. mormons aren't the only ones that call it a drug, science does too.

Coffee is not listed as "sinful" in an religion i have studied. However, the OVERUSE of Coffee (specifically, caffeine) is considered sinful by many sects or all religions. There are some medical reason why a person should avoid coffee, and some recent studies have shown that those people who are "addicted" to Coffee (gotta have the first cup before they can function) do not actually become MORE stimulated for the day, but just manage to bring themselves back to normal, after a night time of caffeine-less "funk". this is sign of a TRUE addiction -- you can't function normally until you had a "fix". In this case, the use of coffee/caffeine WOULD be considered sinful, as it prevents you from properly focusing the actions of your day towards a Godly life.

Not many calories in it, and it is supposed to have some useful enzymes; but some people are "sensitive" to caffeine, and apparently "dark roast" has some extra chemicals that give some people trouble.

@;'Is coffee considered a sin in any religions because this jewish doctor said it's health food? ANYTHING YOU DRINK CLOSE TO SCALDING HOT IS DAMAGING TO YOUR INTERIOR; IT'S NOT COVERED WITH SKIN. WHO DRINKS HOT COFFEE IN THE SUMMER-TIME? NUTS! COFFEE INTERFERES WITH YOUR MEDICINES. YOU DEFEAT THE PURPOSE. DOES THIS MAKE SENSE
