Aji No Moto (a.k.a. Superseasoning or M.S.G.) all depends on your sensitivity. Japanese, Hawaiian and Chinese Cuisine all use the stuff. Here in Hawaii they sell it in 50 gallon drums. If you were going to use it at home add just a pinch to stirfried or panfried items. It is a flavor enhancer and works like sugar and/or salt added to a dish. As far as your FDA percentage intakes go, it should fall under your sodium intake.
