There are over 9000 reasons why this is wrong
2 :
Are you a cat by any chance?
3 :
uh yeah. it does not have the nutrients that your body needs... its called CAT food for a reason. tell your dad to apply for food stamps duh! there is no reason why you should be eating cat food, instead of buying the cat food he could at least buy some lunch meat and bread or something. you dont need to be eating catfood. omg this makes me very upset!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! tell your teachers at school seriously.
4 :
Uhh yeah it is probably wrong for your health! Do you know what's in cat food?! Like bones, eyeballs, organs and yucky stuff!! And you know bread is cheaper than cat food!!! Tell you dad that! That is just sooo wrong!
5 :
It's PURRfectly all right
6 :
This is called child abuse if he's MAKING you eat cat food. Call CPS (child protective services).
7 :
20 internets for you! give a /b/tard some points naow? :P
8 :
Really? Where's your Mom? Live at your grandparents, friend, other brother and sister, etc. Call the police and report him. T R O L L ?
9 :
I think you should ask your dad to change to dog food. It contains far more nutrients and it is actually quite a bit cheaper than cat food. At least you will have some money left over to spoil yourselves. Maybe watch a strip show at your local trailer park

Why would you want to work for a health food store

Why would you want to work for a health food store?
Besides to help promote healthy living

Normally people get employee discount. That could mean a healthy life
2 :
I'm assuming that most health food stores, either chains like Trader Joe's or Whole Foods, or the local mom and pop place are environmentally friendly as well. The other reasons would be if they offered flexible schedules and are very understanding that if I do work for them, that my daughter comes first.
3 :
Assuming that you're into Health Food, it gives you a discount and a view of what's available. especially with new products

Wheres the best place in Michigan to buy health food

Wheres the best place in Michigan to buy health food?
I live in the grand rapids area

is there a WHOLE FOODS there? that's the best place here in Chicago. I would imagine that they have one there. If not, do a search for Wild Oats or Trader Joe's! Good luck and buy some for me:)
2 :
Healy's Heath Hut in Grosse Pinte, MI...I work there
3 :
Vince and joes, and nino silvagios are the only places I go to. Although I live in macomb county, im not sure about grand rapids. But if you hear of either of those places near you, go there.
4 :
Trader Joes, Whole Foods, and Zerbo's in Livonia.
5 :
I live in St. Clair Shores. (Cue cheesy sounding music of "It's a Small World.) I've been to Healy's, I think. (It's on Harper, on the opposite corner of a church, eh?) It's cool. We also go to Nino's for produce, especially tomatoes for our homemade salsa. Trader Joe's is also good. However, Kroger, Meijer, and even Wal-Mart Super Centers all have organic stuff as well. (I'm not sure where it's hidden in Meijer, but Kroger has a section they titled, Nature's Market.) I get my tofu when we're at Trader Joe's, and my soy milk at Kroger and the rest are just "regular" whole wheat bread, veggies, brown rice, etc. (Produce and frozen veggies usually from Aldi [which can be hit and miss with the "fresh" stuff] and Kroger and Meijer, Kroger brand brown rice, some stuff is brand name because I get it really cheap with sale prices and coupons, etc.) I try to do the best I can with what little money I've got, as I'm currently not working and some things, like my tofu and soy milk I don't want to ask my husband to get, as he doesn't eat them. Similarily, I don't normally buy his dairy and eggs and meat. I hope this helps

I am very into health food..my big downfall is when I am out. What is the best way to keep eating nutrtiously?
when out..what suggestions do you have and also if I east fast food, what are the healthiest choices (they must be cheap as I am poor). thanks sweet 143..the poor should not eat or ever go out?

dont go out. that way you cant fail. or if you want a practical answer..... pack something before you go and take it with you. eat something before you go. or reasearch places that let you have something in line with your culinary needs. doesnt applebees have a weight watchers menu now? if all else fails ask the manager of the establishment if they can make something special for a few bucks more. example: pan fried trout with green beans almondine and au gratin potatoes, ask for oven baked trout with the green beans almondine and a baked potatoe or something like that. if you tip good enough or pay a bit extra or both and this is a regualr place you go to. they might be more accomodating good luck
2 :
Subway...Eat fresh! Seriously though, it's much healthier than greasy burger.
3 :
You can eat anything but ask for dressing on the side, skip the fries and have a salad instead. Eat Steak and Salad, no Cesar though, You can ask for an egg-white only omelet, Have beef noodle soup, fills you up and is healthy.
4 :
go to checkers and get that triple cheese burger, its got so many calories you wont be hungry for 2 days!!
5 :
I think that you should just keep count of the percentage of each nutrition that you are getting and each make sure not to go over and to balance out all of your meals. Most restaurants will tell you the nutrition facts so as them and stay on track.
6 :
well u can look up the place where u r going to eat and ask if thy serve certain food. or since u already know healthy eating then u know what to eat or what not to eat. i know with my she can eat out cause she can eat the thing they put in food. and if u r poor then u should not be eating anywayz.
7 :
i'd say some easy rules to follow are to choose something grilled- stay away from anything fried! a small order of fries is 400 calories, and thats just a side dish! cheese and mayonnaise based sauces also add up so if you can't skip both- skip one. taco bell serves items 'fresco style'- using salsa instead of the cheese and sauce, and thats a nice alternative! nicole richie's trainer said as long as you have protein at every meal, you can eat fast food 2x a week. WOOHOO!!!

I think that for me one unhealthy thing sets the ball rolling. . . like --don't drink sodas or have french fries --it makes my body crave more poisons. . . I'm cheap too --I think the healthier restaurant choice first is most important. . . salad always tends to be cheaper than the rest of stuff --oatmeal if it's breakfast is cheap --with herbal tea maybe. . . I'd say avoid sugar, dairy, and oily stuff and you'll be on a good start --a turkey sandwhich and vegetable soup? all the best to ya
9 :
Eat a healthy meal that fills you up before going out. Then when you go out, take a few bites from the appetizer plate or your mans plate. Don't drink too much alcohol either. Tons of sugars and calories in drinks, sometimes there are more in the drinks than the meal alone. Also, for the fast food. Taco Bell is healthy for really cheap. If you get beans in whatever you order. Subway is affordable and yummy. LA BOU is good and healthy (I like the Chinese Chicken Salad

Do fast food resturants offer health insurance

Do fast food resturants offer health insurance?
I was just wondering after hearing about the lady that worked at Wendy's and hung herself and her kids. I heard it may have been due to PPD, and wondered whether she would have had insurance working at Wendy's..

Some food restaurants have very good benefits, health, dental, and life. But you have to be a full-time employee to receive them. Also, if you do not get the insurance at the time it is offered to you, you will have to wait until they have an opening, so to all, get your insurance when offered!!!
2 :
Many fast food and retail chains do offer health insurance, but they often have a minimum length of employment you have to meet before you can enroll (maybe 6 months.) I think Starbucks has one of the shorter employment periods, and you are eligible for health insurance even if you only work part-time
