can u give us the specific foods you want the nutritional information on? that would be helpful! thanks okie! here we go! ( measured in grams! i did the best i could ^-^) carbs/protein/minerals/fats/vitamins/food group carrots - 8 1 5% iron 0 275% A vegtables (100 grams) and 3% 4% C calcium milo - 13.3 2.6 calcium B and C It's an energy (20 grams) magnesium drink so i'm honestly not sure toast - it all depends on what type of bread you use so check the nutrition label on the bag. toast is in the grains food group milk - all depends on wether it's skim milk,1%,2% or whole milk etc and if it's fortified with vitamins or not. Check the nutrition label on the milk you purchase for nutritional information on it. It's in the dairy food group though tea - again, it depends what variety you get. Plain tea without any sugar or milk etc has no carbs, protein, minerals, fat, or vitamins unless you get a special kind that is fortified with vitamins. It does have antioxidants though and is virtually calorie free! Food group: vegtables b/c it is a plant, but that is just a guess b/c i can't find information on it's food group anywhere. ^-^ this website will give you the nutritional value of absolutely anything! http://www.nutritiondata.com/

I suggest you visit a couple of the high-quality food companies' store locaters. When you find a store that several of the foods all sell at that's near you, that's probably a good store with lots of selection. http://www.naturapet.com/where-to-buy/ http://www.championpetfoods.com/orijen/storeLocator/ http://www.canidae.com/company/storelocator.html http://www.merrickpetcare.com/locator/ http://www.naturesvariety.com/locator http://www.geoserve.com/forms/omhwell.htm http://timberwolforganics.com/United-States http://www.frommfamily.com/dealers-us.php

Are there negative health issues related to eating really hot or spicy food

Are there negative health issues related to eating really hot or spicy food?
Are there negative health issues related to eating really hot or spicy food? Other than the obvious possible discomfort, can hot sauces or spices do permanant damage to your insides? What's the hottest thing you've ever eaten? Would you do it again?

I hope not. although it would not help an ulcer. I started hot Mexican food at 5 years and am in my 80's.
2 :
It is generally believed that hot foods are actually GOOD for you (as long as you don't over do it and get yourself an ulcer). They bump up your metabolism & immune system. That is the reason so many health companies sell cayan pepper pills (so people can get those spices into them without burning their mouths. :) Wussies.
3 :
Not the spices but the grease and fat that usually comes with spicy food. Bot hot sauce spices, chili's, tomato's and stuff is actually good for you. But to much could possibly eat the stomach lining away causing heart burn and acid.
4 :
I love hot food! If you have a healthy digestive tract, I don't see any negative aspects related to spicy foods. Of course, if you suffer from acid reflux, ulcer, or colitis, it would be a bad choice for you. A benifit from eating hot foods is capsaicin, a chemical found in chili peppers. It has been linked to helping circulatory problems and pain management.
5 :
There really is? I had experienced it. I live in Philippines, and we have this exotic food of what we call "sinamak". Its a vinegar with peppers and gingers and I used to eat and drink those. And also, one of my favorite, Grind papaya soaked with vinegar, hot peppers and bell peppers. I have eaten so much of those that I've got severe ulcer. And the doctor advised me to refrain from eating all those hot and spicy food. I've learned my lesson

Thought you lived in California.
2 :
The only way to get benefits - health, food, shelter - is for you to be pregnant and drop an illegal baby. And for you that will be totally and physically impossible.
3 :
If you came from England, I'm amazed you didn't do your homework before you left the UK. The streets of the UK are crowded with illegals happily working through the holes in the system here. (Of course, maybe that's why you left)
4 :
come back home.
5 :
There tracking you right now RUN .
6 :
Sell your computer first!
7 :
Don't worry about getting caught, just don't carry any cows with you. Our govt can tell you where a cow with mad cow disease was born, which other cows slept near it, where and where it was raised, buthered and sold. However, they can't tell where 15 million illegals are. Stay away from cows and you'll be fine.
8 :
OMG, we sent you packing over 200 years ago shall we do so again. Go home and come back when you can do it right

How can I increase my tolerance to hot food and what are the health risks

How can I increase my tolerance to hot food and what are the health risks?
I come from an Italian house hold and grew up eating lots of hot foods. I thought I could take on any thing hot. However yesterday I ate a habanero pepper and I freaked out. I don't expect to eat one of these bad boys and after wards feel no heat at all but what are some ways I can build up my heat tolerance and what are the risks of eating a lot of hot food?

I like hot Banana peppers on bread and butter. You can get accustomed to it . I believe they are slightly addictive. Habanero's are simply to hot don't bother with them. To the best of my knowledge there is no health risk in eating hot stuff.
2 :
start with low scoville peppers like jalapeno's/banana peppers in food then work self up to the higher stuff if you like it, the worst that can happen is a volcano erupts in bowels and the burning lava comes out if body cannot handle it.
3 :
The best way to increase your tolerance is exposure....I have used a frank's red hot sauce for a long time but after awhile it lost its kick,so I stepped it up to Frank's red hot xtra sauce and it was a little strong at first but now the heat is down to a level similar to the regular hot sauce. As far as health risks go I don't think there are many, some folks may have trouble breathing when exposed to very hot stuff when they are not used to it,the only other thing is that if you eat a lot of real hot stuff often enough it may burn on the way out....LOL

Any health food stores in Boston

Any health food stores in Boston?
I'm looking for any health food stores in either Malden or Boston, MA. thanks

There is always Whole Foods. You can also find a lot of mom and pop places that cater to organic food fans and vegetarians. They have a cult following and higher prices but many people think they are worth it. Look in the student areas of Boston or Cambridge for the biggest selection. I am not familiar enough with Malden to be specific there.
3 :
There's Whole Foods, and Trader Joes. Plus, some of the bigger super markets (Shaws and Stop & Shop) have health food departments. . . . .Along Huron Ave in Cambridge there's a few mom and pop stores.

Is everybody aware of genetically modified food? And the effects it can have on your health

Is everybody aware of genetically modified food? And the effects it can have on your health?
Publications on GM food toxicity are scarce. An article in Science magazine said it all “Health Risks of Genetically Modified Foods: www.actionbioscience.org/biotech/pusztai.html Check out Organic Bytes at this site: Organic Consumers Association <oca@mail.democracyinaction.org>

Simple answer: Food, Inc.
2 :
Do you know all of the foods that have been genetically modified? Bananas for one have been genetically modified as long as you know a banana without giant seeds. Not all modifications are bad for you.
3 :
well G.M food is banned from the human food chain in Britain, although I am sure that some slips through now and again
4 :
Well I do know that most GM plants will not produce seeds that will produce food. Nice way of creating a market for seed each season. Seems it is all about the money I would guess. I still do my own garden for fresh veggies. And the Watermelon this season are getting huge and still growing. Lots of everything this year. Grow your own Lani! And it is neat to do.
