Healthy options: - whole grain bread - peanut butter - eggs - fresh veggies like carrots, celery, and salads - apples or whatever fresh fruit is in season and cheap - pasta and tomato sauce Which foods are expensive and which are cheap vary by country, but hopefully some of those are good options for where you live

Where in the Constitution are the provisions for health care, food stamps and free government rides?

In your native Russia ?

Let me think. Um, nowhere. Just like there's no guarantee to the right to privacy, which Roe vs. Wade is based on.
3 :
They don't exist. The closest I can get to a straight answer from my alleged "representatives" in the Swamp is "the general welfare clause". When I ask, "What can the federal government NOT do under cover of "the general welfare clause"?" I get no response. Go figger.
4 :
It is not. The constitution gave us the freedom and responsiblity to work hard and to care for ourselves and our neighbors when we chose to do so. Now, it our govt takes more and more of our money to squander on programs that have kept people in poverty for more than fifty years.
5 :
You really got a few numbskull answers from the libs. HA! Was I expecting more? NO! Anyway, the Constitution does not say that and for good reason -- No bumming off of the government!

yahoo has a program called site builder. very easy to use.
2 :
I have built a website around a health food. You can get the jest of it at http://www.simply-blueberries.com I used an amazing program that is available at http://www.tobuildyour.com With a willingness to learn and an investment of my time, the program after two months has helped me to get steady targeted traffic to my website for less than $1 per day. The program will help you to build your own website around your business. There are also forums where you can ask others for help through the process of your designing and building. I hope this helps! I would be happy to answer any questions that you may have about the web host that I chose. Feel free to send me a message through my Yahoo Answers Profile page. BEST WISHES

Health food supplements. What do Malaysians take

Health food supplements. What do Malaysians take?
Do they really have any benefits? I have a whole load on my shelf - Vit C, multi-vits, gingko biloba, evening primrose oil, protein, fibre, collagen, Estime, lactobaccilus.. guess I don't have to take regular meals anymore. Edit: I'm the least disciplined person you can find and the lousiest at swallowing pills. I take Vit C, gingko and EPO daily and the rest, as and when I remember to. Oh, can you believe it, I found spirulina, psyllium and some kind of chilli juice in the fridge!

EPO only, consider or not?
2 :
now im taking only prenatal vitamins : )
3 :
You don't have to take them on 'regular' basis. As a matter of fact, all those nutrients you need are already found in your everyday food and even drinks! Keep in mind that you should also consume a balanced diet. Its not only the additional supplements that make you live your life 'healthier' (it is something that salesmen always do to make you think that way), there are certain enzymes and other forms of healthy microorganisms not present when you consume these supplements (and some destroys them too, by the way, no matter how 'organic' they may be). Since you've already got them, you might want to take them on alternate days or in some cases (if it is a strong supplement), you can use them as certain immune boosters by consuming them periodically or weekly basis. Gingko Biloba is good for all time consumption, by the way. You can also consider collagen and lactobaccilus on regular basis, but it would be useless to take them on daily as you won't feel the difference in your system eventually. Lastly, NEVER use these supplements as an excuse to skip meals or substitute meals in any way unless you are a person who is regularly on a fast (eg. person who eats only once or twice a day). ------------------------------- For me, I consume garlic (raw and processed). Its one of the best supplement for me at the moment and I leave the Multi-Vits for periodical consumption :-)
4 :
multi vitamin will do, the rest we can get it from our food - so need balanced diet. also regular exercise always check USRDI percentage - you may exceed the requirements and waste your money. i.e. you take more than your body requires for example your body only need 60mg of vit. C intake per day according to USRDI. so if you're taking a 250mg vit C every day, just imagine how much you're wasting your money sometimes taking vitamins very much/exceed the limit might be harmful to your health also never listen to /be careful of those direct selling dealers
5 :
Malaysians: Roti Canai - Carbohydrate Teh Tarik - Calcium Pisang Goreng - Potassium Asam Laksa - Vitamin A & E
6 :
they do help a little but dont treat is as a necessity but just accept it as additional supplements. too much may not good for your health. i take vitamin c
7 :
Wow! You're starting to sound like my elder sister. I call her "a walking pharmacy". Hehhe
8 :
Actually, those are call suppliment = replacement for the shortage. Eat more fruit & vagetable daily you don't have to think of those stuff & can save lots of money.
9 :
I'd only take the vit C if I were you. Stick to a healthy balanced diet instead.
10 :
Collagen is crap - your stomach acid digests it. You might as well just eat meat or drink protein powder because the individual subunits making up collagen are also amino acids, which are found in meats. Vit C works if you really can't eat more veg and fruits, but too much is a waste because your body passes excess vit C and vit B out. They are water soluble so they cannot be stored by the body. If you are taking multi vits, stick to that and skip the C. It puts less stress on your wallet. Lactobacillus - if it isn't live cultures, no point. For me, evening primrose oil did nothing for my period pains. I tried Omega fish oil from Pristin brand, and that worked better. Plus it's cheaper than primrose oil. You just need 1000mg (a tablet) of fish oil a day, instead of having to take 3000mg primrose oil a day when u first start.
11 :
i take vitamin C, vitamin E and calcium.
12 :
Forget about vitamin pills or any health food supplements. Eat an apple or orange everyday and make sure you take regular meals daily

Recently I began to chew and spit food. What are some health dangers associated with it

Recently I began to chew and spit food. What are some health dangers associated with it?
I noticed this week that I have been doing this a lot and I have been having stomach aches and bloating. Is this due to this behavior? Also, can I gain weight from this? Is it normal for my cheeks to get swollen too? By this I mean chew it intentionally and then spit it out for fear of weight gain.

Its not clear from your question what is going on. If you are spitting out your food before swallowing it, and worrying about weight gain and stomach problems, this sounds like an eating disorder - similar to anorexia or bulimia. The dangers of this are that the habit will progress, become harder to control, and cause malnutrition. If there there is some physical reason that food is falling out of your mouth while chewing, then that would suggest some sort of problem with the nerves that control chewing. Don't know how swollen cheeks fit into the picture, but it is common for someone with an eating disorder to focus on any type of weight gain or puffiness they think might be related to food

How good is Chicken Soup dry cat food for the cats health and well-being

How good is Chicken Soup dry cat food for the cats health and well-being?

Cats - 7 Answers

1 :
It's not a very high quality food.
2 :
I'm liking it, and so are the cats. I'm on my second bag, and I've seen a huge improvement in coat, stool, and general demeanor. One cat who had developed corn allergies tolerates it exceptionally well. I think it is very, very reasonable for the quality, and compares favorably with crappy supermarket brands. I'm not a big fan of dry food because of the myriad of problems that can come from it, but Chicken Soup has good ingredients, and I feel comfortable letting my cats graze on it as well as a regular meal.
3 :
It's definitely not the worst food you could buy. At least it doesn't have by products which are inferior ingredients and corn which cats don't digest. My only problem would be that its not a grain free food and cats really are strict carnivores.
4 :
dry food is garbage for cats. Cats should not get any grains, byproducts or carbs. dry food can lead to diabetes, renal disease... High quality canned is much better-wellness, evo, merricks,avoderm..there are lots of them. Do a search on feline nutrition and make up your own mind. there is lots of info out there
5 :
I'm totally against feeding cats a dry food only diet. They don't get enough moisture from the dry food and they don't drink enough water to compensate for this. I have two ragdolls and the older one came to me as a 7 year old with a prescription diet due to having recurrent urine infections. I eventually switched him off the prescription diet as I was worried about the long-term effect on his kidneys and I put both my cats on a wet food only diet with a little dry on rare occasions if I go away for the whole day. My older boy has had no problems with his health ever since, and this was three years ago and my younger kitty seems to be doing well on this diet also. The food we feed our pets is often very low quality and full of rubbish meat by products. I feel that it is easier to keep your pet healthy if you feed them well and I have been concerned about the quality of pet food for some time now. You want to make sure that there is a high enough meat content in your catfood, that it has no added silly ingredients (such as sugars or grains). In the wild a cat has adapted very well to eating meat and the only vegetable matter is obtained from the stomach of their prey or from chewing a bit of grass. Think about the fact that mother nature intended a cat to eat the way it does and try to replicate that as far as possible in their food. Always read the label and try to make decisions based on a balanced, mainly meat diet for your kitties.
6 :
I think the cat should have the soup because how the soup is made and it not good. I have a cat and my dad have or been with cats his all of his life. He said that soup is not good for cats too. The soup can been bad for they in the long way. You should ask your cats vet before you give your cats any soup.
7 :
as far as a dry food it is okay. i can think of better foods. including high quality wet foods and the prey model raw diet. cat are obligate carnivores. they dont have the GI tract to handel the carbs from the meat flavored cereal
