To tell you the truth I can't remember, but it has been proved that it doesn't work.

shark cartilage is used to relieve arthritic pain and lubricate the joints, it is considered part of the omega groups, an an antioxidant. I do not know if it works.

Don't know if it works but here's the pharmacology (how it works) for shark cartilage: Cartilage tissue contains substances called antiangiogenesis factors that inhibit the growth of new blood vessels. It has been hypothesized that high doses of shark cartilage may prevent tumor growth. The proposed mechanism is that the antiangiogenesis factors prevent tumors from developing the network of blood vessels they need to supply them with nutrients. This reportedly “starves” tumors and causes them to shrink. Cartilage tissue is a mixture of glycosaminoglycans (GAGs). One of the primary GAGs is chondroitin sulfate, which may provide some benefit for people with osteoarthritis.

Shark cartilage is mostly used for arthritis. I tried it and it didn't seem to do anything.

Many of their selections rank very high on the list of unhealthy fast food items. High in fat, calories and sodium. Also, their cuts of roast beef are very poor quality.

well, do you really want the government to start regulating the food we eat? Do you want the government to ban coca cola.Yes, coca cola is a bad thing but we all have the right to drink it. I think that if the true cause of obesity were pinpointed, the government would cover it up. I think obesity is something that is easily curable and it should have been cured by now. So why isn't it? My entire family has exemplary blood sugar levels, cholesterol levels, triglyceride levels and none of us are obese. But we are never interviewed or questioned as to why. It is always attributed to genes but in reality our genetic background says that we should be diabetic with high blood pressure and heart trouble. If the government began to look at our diet, it would say that our diet is not safe. My diet is one that the government would ban no matter how healthy it made me.Not only is there evidence that it is successful, I am not the only one with this kind of success.

nope, spicy stuff is good for your heart, in the long term, although it may burn your stomach, you would just have to balance your meals, milk is good for the acid reflex.

As a general rule, spicy food is good for you in many different ways, but if over done, such as with myself, it can cause ulcers, damage to your taste buds, and can eat the lining of your stomach.

Check out this website: http://www.celiac.org/ . I have a friend whose son is autistic and whose other child has sensitivies to gluten where her behavior gets very much like autistim. She has her children on a gluten-free and casin-free diet and her son has gone into school in mainstream classes and is doing well. From what I understand candida also plays a role in this since it feeds on gluten and sugar, but I don't know exactly what your situation is. As for where to by food. I think it is probably easier to find what you need in a health food store. Fortunately there are many grocery store chains that are being to carry gluten-free products and organic produce, etc. and are probably better prices. You just have to get to know what the good prices are and the products that taste best with the least amount of reaction in your body. This is a tough thing, I wish you luck.

You need to see a nutritionist. This is a hard disease and nothing to fool around with.

IT is the intolerance to GLUTEN, HOWEVER there are massive products that contain gluten that are NOT listed on the package. You have to do research and get the list of what those products are. Some people have very severe reactions to even small amounts. See your doctor and get a referal to a specialist. Your specialist SHOULD hanve all that information.

When you're first starting out you should buy only fresh real food or things specifically marked gluten free. Once you've been doing it for a while you'll recognize all the the additives that contain gluten and you can start doing more normal shopping. Check out celiac.com or clanthompson for lists of food that they have talked to the manufacturer about the GF status and information on tricky ingredients like natural and artificial flavors

My cat just got over a UTI. Our vet said that since she's an indoor cat she could eat an indoor formula food. I don't know if that's the case with you or not, but if it is, you could try what we feed our cat. We give her Purina Cat Chow Indoor Formula. You can get it at any grocery store.

I am searching for the same thing tonight. I have tried the Purina for Urinary tract, and my cat will not eat it. In fact, he runs from it. I saw that Friskies has one, but have no idea where to find it as of yet
