How many different flavors of canned cat food is enough variety for good health (and cat satisfaction too)

How many different flavors of canned cat food is enough variety for good health (and cat satisfaction too)?
I currently alternate between just two: chicken and turkey. Is that enough of a varied diet for them? Or should incorporate a couple more, say, beef and catfish? Thanks!

I alternate between 3 (but I also have kibble available) I have heard to stay away from fish as best you can,a little now and again wont hurt, but it can cause some kind of stones, kidney or bladder stones (I cant remember which)
2 :
well you should giv ur cat some dry food aswel that has all ther recommnded nutrients, the pack will tell u how much wet/dry it shud get a day. as for the wet food why not vary it for them! i give my cat tuna once a week as a treat :)
3 :
Avoid the fish because it can cause kidney stones and it is not worth the vet bills. I alternated between 3. Chicken. turkey and beef. They seem satisfied with that.
4 :
I would stay away from fish based foods. We stick to chicken, turkey, beef, lamb and venison in higher quality brands. They get a new flavor every other day.
5 :
Seeing as Chicken and Turkey are pretty similar, I think it would be safe to say adding a few more flavors wouldn't hurt. I've found that alot of cats like Rabbit and Beef, but fish is also good. Also you should provide you cat with some dry food, and on occasion some cat milk as a treat (whiskas brand, it is not from cats, but specifically designed for them as cow milk can upset their stomachs a little.) Hope this helps! Kitty

They are coated with aluminium and plastic..

"No. There are no health concerns associated with the aseptic package. The silver material you see on the inside of the aseptic package is an ultra-thin layer of aluminum, which forms a barrier against light and oxygen, eliminating the need for refrigeration and preventing spoilage without using preservatives. Aluminum does not touch the food product. The inside layer of an aseptic package, which touches the product, is polyethylene (plastic), not aluminum. Moreover, there is no leaching of aluminum or aluminum components through the polyethylene layer." This is at least what they say on their website

how to get lunch money help. It is too costly to prep health food for kids?

healthy foods should not be expensive since you have to cook it yourself. All those expensive foods are the ones where it is laden with chemicals. some might be cheap like mcdonalds but if you make it yourself it is just as cheap.
2 :
What's your location? Are you in the USA? Have you tried contacting your school district? I know that buying fresh fruits and veggies can be expensive - frozen are good alternatives for vegetables (not so great for fruits). Sugar free jello is a cheap and delicious healthy snack. Almost all public schools, if not all, offer a reduced or free lunch plan for students whose parents fall within a certain income bracket. You can check out http://www.fns.usda.gov/cnd/Lunch/ for more information or call your school board. If you don't fall within those income brackets but still have trouble affording to make a healthy lunch (and boy do I believe it's possible!), you should post another question to that effect - I bet lots of parents have some great ideas

Pasteurazation and distilling which eliminates the Mother from the regular store bought one. In distilling, the vinegar is turned to steam by heating. Therefore it destroys the powerful enzymes and distills out the life-giving minerals such as potassium, phosphorus, natural organic fluorine, silicon, trace minerals and pectin as well as many other powerful nutrients! Distilling also destroys the natural malic and tartaric acids which are important in fighting body toxins and inhibiting unfriendly bacteria.

Here is what you need to do, if you are serious about losing weight and keeping it off. Eat 6 small meals a day about every 4 hours. Here what that will do for you, your metabolism will increase (i.e. Loose weight) and you will have more engry. If you go on a diet and eat less, your metabolism will slow down and store to fat. That is why diets dont work. Only the size of your fist, carbs (examples:baked potato, pasta, oatmeal, beans, corn, melon, apples, fat free yogurt, whole wheat breads)in one and protien (examples:chicken breast, swordfish, shrimp, turkey breast) in the other. You can also eat vegetables and salads with any meal, they dont have none or little fat). 30min cardo exercise every day. Any of these(examples: walking, jogging, swimming, running, biking, ect), Monday cardo, tues upper body (arms: curls, tricep extensions, pull ups, front press)(abdominals: leg pull crunch, leg raises), (chest: bench press, butterfly, pullover)(shoulders: front press, arm pullover, cross county skier machine)(back:seated row, lat pull downs, back extension)(YOU DONT HAVE TO DO IN ONE DAY, mix it up) wed cardo, thurs lower body (legs: leg pull, leg press, squats, lounges) fri cardo, sat upper. Sunday eat anything you want and dont exercising, you do this on sunday so your body doesnt go into starvation mode. YOU NEED TO TAKE SUNDAY OFF. If you stilck with this you will have a great body. also drink aleast 8oz of water daily! Stay away from Mcdonals, Wendys, ect because there is nothing good for you on the menu's even the salads are bad (beaon bits, cheeze, dressing, ect) Good Luck

Urinary health food recommendations

Urinary health food recommendations?
I got back from the emergency vet this morning to find out my cat has a UTI (FLUID I think he called it specifically if that means anything) and crystallization of her urine but not blockage. The emerg vet suggested that I should discuss with my vet changing my cat's food to one that is optimal for urinary tract health to prevent another similar incident. Either way, I know that my vet will instantly recommend Iams since that's what he sells at his office and I'm looking for another opinion on what people have used and have worked. Both of my cats are currently on Wellness Core brand, Indoor health and are doing very well on it. So, which food would you recommend? Is such thing as a urinary health food without grain products as my cat is sensitive to them?

1 :
I would maybe try this: http://www.hillspet.com/products/pd-feline-cd-multicare-feline-bladder-health-dry.html I don't think there is one without grain in it though, unfortunately. Here is some grain-free cat foods too but they don't have the urinary health to it: http://bluebuffalo.com/products/cats/basics-for-cats-turkey.shtml http://bluebuffalo.com/products/cats/wilderness-cat.shtml http://www.tasteofthewildpetfood.com/products/cats/dry_food/canyon_river_feline_formula/ http://www.tasteofthewildpetfood.com/products/cats/dry_food/rocky_mountain_feline_formula/ I feed this stuff ^^^^ and my cats are really healthy and love the food. They eat less, making less time in the litter box. Hope this helps! =) -Fresh--Paint-
2 :
If it is struvite crystals just feed a quality wet food with high protein and no grains. Or if the cat has a lot of crystals and the vet says they need to be dissolved and recommends first a short term diet for that you COULD go ahead and give her that. Or give it DL Methionine or Vitamin C along with a grain free wet food, but check the urine ph with test strips regularly to make sure it is not getting too alkaline or you can risk the cat getting calcium oxalate crystals which have to be surgically removed. (BTW that is what has happened to many cats on the prescription diets for struvite crystals -- it goes too far and changes the pH too much and they get the other kind of crystals that are harder to deal with). And I definitely would not put a cat long term on one of those low quality, high carb, high priced vet foods for crystals full of cheap grain fillers and byproducts. I unfortunately did do that (specifically Hill's c/d) and my cat gained 6 lbs and got diabetes. I have since heard so many other people say their cats became diabetic on those diets. Once I put mine on low carb wet food he never had any problem with crystals. At first he was on Evo but later switched to a variety including Merrick Cowboy Cookout, Wellness, Natures Variety Instinct, Wysong Au Jus, some of the Merrick B.G. (Before Grain) canned food, etc.
3 :
Please consider a high quality canned diet. It will have the moisture and animal protein a cat needs. A low protein prescription diet is kind of the old fashioned way of dealing with crystals. New research suggests that canned food is really just as good if not better because of the protein/moisture combo. On a side note I have noticed a number of folks that had their cats on Wellness CORE had cats with crystal issues. It could be a coincidence but you may want to look into it and perhaps make sure the healthy cat gets some canned food also, just to be safe. All signs point to it being a super healthy food so this was surprising to me, and may just be coincidental like I said.. Here's a couple of studies regarding a high protein/low carb diet http://avmajournals.avma.org/doi/abs/10.2460/ajvr.2003.64.1059 http://avmajournals.avma.org/doi/abs/10.2460/ajvr.2004.65.138 Good luck

There are a number of versions of sushi. This site contains recipes for sushi rolls. http://www.dlc.fi/~marianna/gourmet/4_14.htm This is another for vegetable rolls. http://www.recipesource.com/ethnic/asia/japanese/01/rec0105.html This site offers a simple vegetable sushi roll for kids to make. http://familyfun.go.com/recipes/family/feature/dony0400sushi/dony0400sushi2.html
2 :
Omelette When making fukusazushi, paper-thin omelette may replace a sheet of nori as the wrapping. The omelette is traditionally made in a rectangular omelette pan (makiyakinabe), and used to form the pouch for the rice and fillings. The Wiki Cookbook has a sample recipe Inari-zushiAll sushi has rice in it, but not all sushi uses nori as a wrapper. Inarizushi, which translates to stuffed sushi, encloses the rice and filling in a pocket made of paper-thin omelet, fried tofu, or a cabbage leaf. What follows is the recipe for an omelet wrapper. http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Cookbook:Inarizushi Toppings and fillings Vegetables Pickled daikon radish (takuan) in shinko maki, various pickled vegetables (tsukemono), fermented soybeans (natto) in nattō maki, avocado in California rolls, cucumber in kappa maki, asparagus, yam, tofu, pickled ume (umeboshi), gourd (kampyō), burdock (gobo), and sweet corn mixed with mayonnaise. these sites will help you on your way to making sushi
3 :
You need seaweed wrap things. I use sticky rice, shredded carrots, avocado, onion, and cucumber. Just lay it on the wrap, roll, and wet the last bit of wrap so it will stick (kind of like a rolled cigarette).
4 :
Cook Sticky rice (kona rose is a good brand ) work with wooden paddle while sprinkling with japanese rice wine vinegar. place on Nori(pressed seaweed), place on a bamboo mat and spread rice 1/4-1/2 " thick. place juilline veggies(your choice , gr. beans, carrots.asparagus) or avocado on the bottom third of the rice, roll 1 turn tightly, pressing on the bamboo to tighten. Roll the rest of the way. wet the end of the Nori with water in your finger tips to seal.
5 :
Simple as long as you can prep up the ingredients together. I'll explain that. You need rice, seaweed wrap, vegetables, and a maki roller (the sushi wraper, bamboo perfered). You prep up the rice the way you want, normally, 2:3 rice to water ratio. This varys with the rice cooker. See the manual. Then you want to add seasoning to the rice, which you can get at Asian markets. Put the seaweed wrap on the maki roller. You evenly space the seasoned rice onto the seaweed wrap. You don't want it too thick, or your wrap will "explode". Just spread enough to not see the seaweed through the top when you look down to the rice facing up side. Put your vegetables on the either end of the wrap horizontally. So you would put it on the long way across. Now, the critical part. You wrap it. You want to start from the vegetable side going into the blank side. DON'T PRESS ON IT. You just want to put littlest force as possible. Just wrap it so that the wrap sticks. Get your kitchen knife or sushi knife, sharpen it, wet it with room temperature water, and cut it in the middle. Pull the knife to you, not away from you. AND DON'T SAW THE SUSHI. it's not a block of wood. Put the two sushi sections together, side to side, and cut it again into two more sections. You should end up with 6 parts. Dish it and enjoy!
6 :
To get good quality and excellent recipes, check out www.allrecipes.com They have over 1,000 of recipes that is submited by users of the site, you can search by ingredients, ethnic/regional, etc. They also have a rating system, so you would know what recipe is good and what recipe is not good. plus you can change the amount of servings and the site will automatically adjust the measurements for the ingredients. and of course, you can learn how to make the stuff Good luck
7 :
Cucumber and Avocado Sushi INGREDIENTS: 1 1/4 cups water 1 cup uncooked glutinous white rice (sushi rice) 3 tablespoons rice vinegar 1 pinch salt 4 sheets nori (dry seaweed) 1/2 cucumber, sliced into thin strips 1 avocado - peeled, pitted and sliced DIRECTIONS: Combine the water and rice in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes, or until rice is tender and water has been absorbed. Remove from the heat and stir in the vinegar and a pinch of salt. Set aside to cool. Cover a bamboo sushi mat with plastic wrap to keep the rice from sticking. Place a sheet of seaweed over the plastic. Use your hands to spread the rice evenly onto the sheet, leaving about 1/2 inch of seaweed empty at the bottom. Arrange strips of cucumber and avocado across the center of the rice. Lift the mat and roll over the vegetables once and press down. Unroll, then roll again towards the exposed end of the seaweed sheet to make a long roll. You may moisten with a little water to help seal. Set aside and continue with remaining nori sheets, rice and fillings. Use a sharp wet knife to slice the rolls into 5 or 6 slices. Serve cut side up with your favorite sushi condiments

Why do Can foods and Health dinners contain so much salt

Why do Can foods and Health dinners contain so much salt?
I would just like to say that so many people choose to eat healthy. In doing so many select healthy foods such as can good foods, Health dinners as Lean Cuisine etc. But if you take a look on the back of the package the sodium level is very high. I was told companies put so much salt in the food to preserve the food is that true?
Other - General Health Care - 12 Answers
Random Answers, Critics, Comments, Opinions :
1 :
Just about everything has too much salt! No wonder we are all dying!
2 :
That was always my belief as well. Salt has been used in many cultures for hundreds and hundreds of years as the only preservation tool.
3 :
To preserve the food.
4 :
The salt in prepared foods is not so much for preservation of the food as it is for flavoring. If you look, these prepackaged foods already contain other preservatives and hardly need salt to function as that. Instead, the salt content of these foods is to make the food taste more "flavorful" to the average person. Consequently they will be more likely to buy it, leading to increased quarterly earning reports , which leads to an increase in the stock prices.
5 :
it helps preserve them so they last longer
6 :
How else are they suppose to preserve it? Der.
7 :
Yes. Salt is a natural preservative. That is why so much is used in foods that need to last a long time. (The ancient Egyptians even used salt when preserving corpses, which resulting in the extraordinarily well preserved mummies, if my memory serves me right.) In the case of stuff like "lean cuisine" and the like, it also makes it a little more palatable when they've taken out the fat.
8 :
IT is to preserve the food.
9 :
While salt is helpful for preservation in canned foods, it's not for preservation in pre-packed, processed food; they've already got preservatives. The American palette has become so used to salted foods that when they aren't salted we consider them to be "tasteless." The salt is only added as a flavoring.
10 :
Because the food is stored it has to be preserved therefore they use salt.
11 :
It is a concern for taste not health and stupidity. America is the fattest country and one of the sickest. See site below under anti-water to see how this makes everyone fatter. American Medical Assoc. has asked FDA to make salt a regulated ingredient so they can force everyone to reduce the amount by half. It is not a food but is a rock. 25% of Americans have high blood pressure. http://phifoundation.org
12 :
The salt is in there to preserve the food. In case you wanna know, 2400mg of salt is one teaspoon and that's about the daily limit for each person. One thing you can do to help is to switch to seasalt. Seasalt has about 70 percent less sodium. It costs more but it is soooooo much better for you. Another thing you can do is empty canned vegetables into a collandar and thouroughly rinse the vegetables to remove all the salt. Hope these tips help you

The best deal on acne products is at the hardware store. No, not sandpaper. White resin glue, it's cheap it's common and it works better than anything else. Rub it on like any make-up mask product, when it's lear it's dry, peel it off. Be certain to put oil or vaseline on your eyebrows prior to applying glue or you'll lose your eyebrows. Ouch. Do it once and see how much crud it pulls out of your face and you will believe in this method. Do it everyday for 2 weeks then as necessary.
4 :
Dasha, their product doesn't work, at least for me. for e.g proactive is scam, it just made my acne worse so I wouldn't recommend you to use it. Instead drink a lot of water. also I'm using a cheap remedy which is helping me a lot to remove my face severe acne. I found it from this blog: http://acneargh.wordpress.com/ hope this helps

if your dieting, as long as you do it once a week its supposed to be better. if you splurge in calories once a week it throws off your body and doesnt let it get used to your diet therefore when you are dieting it works even better

Are there health food stores in India

Are there health food stores in India?
Health food stores where you can find organic foods or pure supplements like vitamin D and C. If there are health food stores, what are they like, what type of health foods are they geared towards....do they they offer herbs and whole foods? Thanks you so much! I am possibly moving to India in a year or so and I m trying to find out how difficult it will be to maintain my healthy lifestyle habits. I'll be asking all sorts of questions about India so I may reduce culture shock! Knowledge is power, yeah? Things will be easier and better ad more relaxing if I know what it will be like (even the small stuff) so look out for some pretty silly sounding questions...hehehe.....

Hi there Arti...well you are asking the question I've spent years myself trying to answer. I also live in India as a 'foreigner'. I live near Delhi so most of my searching for Health food shops has been in Delhi. What I am noticing after 12 years since I first came here is that India is either getting educated about organics more now or else one could say, going back to their roots. By that I mean that things are really simple in India and always were, the foods were organic and so forth, there are herbs from which Ayurvedic doctors make their medicines, but India followed the west. They got tractors instead of bullock driven ploughs (well some still use them of course because they can't afford tractors.) And they got pesticides and herbicides etc The first health food shop I came in contact with was ...can't remember its name right now, something like 'Good foods' or ‘Good earth They are not really our western style of health food shop. Not strictly vegetarian even cause they bake cakes and breads with eggs in them. Basically they just have a few good things. (You can write to me personally if you want to discuss more) Then I found one in Kolkatta with organic grains from the Himalayas and a few organic veges, and a few healthy things. They also have 'meat' in the freezer, "shock horror". Hey Hindus are supposed to be vegetarians! Then I heard about some better ones in Bangalore and surely there would be something in Mumbai though maybe not much worth writing home about. But then ….enter “Fabindia... well I'm impressed by this shop. They have beautiful everything. Organic grains and some other stuff and beautiful cloth- clothes, linen etc. They have a nice muesli and cashew butter too. And they have branches in about 20 cities in India. They have a website too. Then there are import stores that have many ‘overseas' things like olive oil and pasta and a few herb tea bags. They also import fruit and veges. They are expensive though. There are now many more organic growers in India and 'Fabindia' is sponsoring them and encouraging them. I can get Avacados where I live, don't know if they are organic, but I'm not in a big city where they are usually found in select shops only.our Vitamins here arn't as good as in the west. Bring your own and have others mailed to you. Hope I'm helping and not discouraging you. Where are you moving to in India? Come and visit us!
2 :
IMHO, trying to find organic food in India would be like trying to find fool's gold. It's bad enough here in the US where there is no clear cut guidlenes or monitoring as to which can and are labeled as "organic". I'll fathom to guess that in India it is even less regulated. All you will be doing is paying more for the same stuff with an "organic" label on them.Ofcourse, you could try to find an organic farm and buy directly from it

From my experience with ANY Kaytee brand food.. No.. I can't say for sure that none of their foods for any type of animal is good. But I have rats, and know that their rat food is ridiculously horrid. And from as far as I can tell, none of their foods are of excellent quality, or cover all dietary needs.

I recommend Mazuri for Chinchillas. That is what I feed my Chin and he loves it. It's good for him too, it is what most breeders/ranchers use. It comes in a blue bag at most pet stores.

How bad are plastic food and drink containers for our health

How bad are plastic food and drink containers for our health?
Are there serious risks most do not know of? I was getting water from a delivery company and since I've cancel there service now that money is getting tighter.. and I'm just drinking well water. Oh I live on small organic farm/shop so in the first place I don't know what I was thinking ordering water, well I know it wasn't my idea.. Well I feel like 100% better. What gives?
Diet & Fitness - 7 Answers

1 :
well water has probably more minerals in it and do you know the source of the well . this water is naturally filtered . but it does not follow that this water is 100% probably better that those plastic bottles out of a tap more likely. by the way don't carry water in plastic bottles in the car i mean the small ones of course they flex in the heat and the water can be tainted and i read somewhere it can be carcinogenic
2 :
i do know when plastic gets too warm it releases carcinogens, so that could be part of it.
3 :
Plastic food and drink containers should pose no real health risk to the average person. Just don't eat the container.
4 :
There is 0 risk. plastic is perfectly safe unless you are melting it or eating it. This is an old wives tale given more steam by ridiculous conspiracy theorists.
5 :
2 good things about well water. Minerals and it's alive. Water doesn't like to be stopped, its nature is to move, almost as though it were a living energy. Water in bottles is not 'happy'. It might not seem like water in a well is moving but it is, that's how the well gets filled as it goes by. As for plastic, I'm not worried about it. Humanity clawed its way to the top of the food chain by being resilient and adaptive. Sterile plastic bottles are certainly less of a threat than goat skins or even the best ceramic containers used before Louis Pasteur invented the germ theory and made us start washing things. We will survive.
6 :
It will cause several health problems
7 :
Did you know water expires? It has a expire date on it?I heard the plastic melts in the heat. And yes, the rumors are true: chemicals used to manufacture certain plastics such as Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) can be potentially harmful when ingested. So it makes sense to know what to look for—and what to avoid—when you buy, wrap, cook, or store food or beverages in any type of container. Choose Better Plastics Too complicated to know which is best? Not really. Essentially, the more flexible the plastic, the more likely it is to contain potentially toxic plasticizers called “phthalates,” which make it more pliable. Plastics made of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) or high density polyethylene (HDPE)—such as most Nalgene bottles—are safer than that made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC). For those on-the-go moments, opt for plastic containers labeled #2, #4, and #5. Look for these numbers on the bottom of the container. I say lets go back to lead plates. Lead positioning less worse than cancer. LOL just kidding

what are the health benefits of korean food

what are the health benefits of korean food?
i think that basically explains itself.

its good for u because there are a lot of vegetables in Korean food. plus it taste good
2 :
I was the healthiest I've ever been when I was stationed in Korea. I think it has to do with all the veggies you eat.
3 :
if u want 2 knw.go to:http://www.noaura.com/korea5.html.bye!!!
4 :
It's high in fiber, the fermented veggies seem to have positive effects (probiotics, some that haven't been explained), the garlic is antioxidant, it is delicious, the hot peppers are great for you.
5 :
Korean food typically contains lots of garlic which is good at staving off sickness. There are stats that say that Korean people eat the most garlic per capita and that they also suffer the least from common illnesses like colds and flus. Not too much Korean food is deep-fried or contains much fat. Most Korean food is well balanced with a good proportion of vegetables, protein and fibre. You just have to watch the salt a little bit

I like Clifton Natural foods. You should also try Jungle Jim's-it's is not a natural foods store but has a huge Organic section and is a great foodie experience. You should also join the Cincinnati locavore group http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CinciLocavore/ There are big listings of farms, farmers markets, CSA, health food stores, restaurants, etc., for your area

where can I find FREE health food recipes online?

go to www.foodnetwork.com. They have a ton of recipes there from a wide category of chefs such as Bobby Flay and Jose Garces
2 :
Here is one of there recipes. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Poached Eggs Over Spinach and Mushrooms 2 Spinach and mushrooms make a great combination. Using frozen spinach makes this a quick-and-easy combination to enjoy both at breakfast and dinner. Poached Eggs Over Spinach and Mushrooms 2 Prep and Cook Time: 10 minutes Ingredients: * 1 package frozen spinach (or use fresh spinach and follow instructions for 1-Minute Spinach) * ½ lb crimini mushrooms, sliced * 3 TBS low-sodium chicken or vegetable broth * 1 tsp lemon juice * 1 medium fresh garlic, pressed * 1 TBS extra virgin olive oil * 2 eggs, preferably organic, poached * salt and cracked black pepper to taste Directions: 1. Thaw spinach or place in boiling water until thawed. 2. Drain and press out excess water from spinach. 3. Heat 3 TBS broth over medium heat in a stainless steel skillet. 4. When broth begins to steam, add sliced mushrooms and sauté for 4 minutes. Add spinach and sauté for 3 more minutes. 5. Transfer to a bowl. For more flavor, toss crimini mushrooms and spinach with the remaining ingredients while they are still hot. 6. When water comes to a high simmer, poach eggs for about 5 minutes, or until whites are firm. Remove from water with a slotted spoon and place over spinach and mushroom mixture. Serves 2 Healthy Cooking Tips: Make sure you do not add any salt to the poaching water for the eggs. The salt has a tendency to dissolve the egg whites. By making sure there is enough water in the poaching pan to cover eggs, you avoid the eggs sticking to the bottom of the pan. You want the eggs to float while they cook. This also avoids breaking the eggs when you remove them with the slotted spoon. It is also important that the water is at a steady simmer and not boiling. You may want to lay the spoon with the egg on a towel briefly after removing egg from water. This allows the towel to absorb some of the poaching water so that the flavor of the mushroom and spinach mixture won't be diluted. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.whfoods.com/

Can i go eat KFC now that they got rid of trans fat oil? is it health food?

Diet & Fitness - 10 Answers

1 :
KFC is still a very unhealthy restaurant...even if they took out the trans fat.
2 :
It is about as far away from health food as you can get! Still!
3 :
no its junk food lol @ u
4 :
It's by no means health food. Anything fried is jammed packed with calories and fat.
5 :
No, it is not health food. It is still high in fat and calories and low in vitamins/minerals.
6 :
Who said they got rid of trans fat oil? Saying and doing are two very different things
7 :
No it is not healthy food unless you order everthing skinless and eat mostly white meat pieces.
8 :
kfc is still one of the worst foods you can eat. visit www.peta.org for more info on the garbage they call food.
9 :
HELLSS NO!!!!!! You can still continue to clog your arteries and add inches to your waistline just like before you big fat SOW!!!!!!!! Maybe just to ensure your obesity you should choke down a cheescake or two after your kentucky mutated genetically engineered eight headed chicken meal PIG.
10 :
Hello....there's still a percentage of trans fat in oil...and no, sorry KFC is not health food, actually FEW restaurauts offer healthy food...why doesn't any one home cook their meals anymore?...if that were to happen , we'd be a lot of more healthy and less obese people. If you truly want to eat healthy, lose weight, or maintain a healthy weight DO NOT EAT anything that tastes good, is sweet, or fried. You'll live a full lifetime...but it will seem like ten
