Yes ! its true because of the rays it penetrates into food

Everything is bad for your health. To add to the "answerer" above. I think the dish you heat it in may have some negative effects as well (ie the chemicals in the plastic or whatever type of material you use).

but the research has not found anybody got any side effects or sick by eating food warmed with Micro-wave
