You don't need a colon cleanser unless you're shoving dirt in there. Your body does a good job of ridding the waste all on its own.

Do not get a colonic to clean your colon. This will get rid of the good bacteria in your intestine that you need for good health. It is difficult to replenish these bacteria after a colon cleanse and it is not recommended. The best way to keep your colon clean is to use psyllium. This will loosen the debris that is compacted there. Don't listen to the uneducated or simply ignorant people that tell you that you don't need to clean your colon, especially if you eat the American diet and follow the "Food Pyramid." A good product on the market that contains psyllium and other herbs for cleansing can be found at: www.healthline.cc (not .com) or call: (310) 320 - 1123 and order: Colon Cleanse. This really works and does not cause you any side effects like so many of the other products on the market do. Take 5 capsules in the morning and 5 at night for 3 months. You will grow to love what it does for you and I have found that most people loose about 15 pounds in the 3 month period. Most people find that years of debris build up comes out over the time period. You should also purchase from the same company, their probiotic. Take one in the morning and one in the evening. good luck to you

Water is the best cleanser for the body in general. Furthermore, you don't have to worry about side effects. However, increasing fiber in your diet may help.

I recommend room temperature coffee. It cleanses the liver and is recommended for a variety of issues. Cheap and readily available also.

insoluble fibre... metamucil is an orange flavoured drink that has psyllium husk in it which bulks up the stool what you spend on metamucil, you will save on toilet paper :) try a big glass (500ml) with a dessert spoon of metamucil - once per daily... great stuff... you will appreciate good a poo can feel. it is not a stimulant laxative, so it is quite safe. alternatively you can get psyllium husk from a health food store and put it on your cereal
