Is "Blue Spa" canned cat food safe for urinary tract health

Is "Blue Spa" canned cat food safe for urinary tract health?
Does anybody know if "blue spa" brand canned cat food is safe for a cat who has had a urinary infection in the past? The dry brand has it's magnesium content listed and it's a safe level, but the canned doesn't indicate it's magnesium content. Also, I just learned about a recall around last year for their products. Should I be concerned about this?

Yes, it is safe. I used to work for Blue. But in case anything has changed, you should go to http://www.bluebuffalo.com and use the contact form to ask a nutritionist to provide that information. They are a family owned company (yes, it's a millionaire's family, but at least it's not a huge pharmaceutical conglomerate like Eukanuba or a toothpaste company like Science Diet!) and get back to people quickly.

Pretty much any canned food is going to be fine, so yes. Just avoid any with fish
