Eating more than you normally would - weight gain. Not chewing enough - makes it hard to digest, won't get all the nutrients out.

I don't know if there are any HEALTH WISE (except INDIGESTION) per-say -- but I do know that if I eat salty foods way to fast, I experience heartburn for hours! I hope my answer helps you... Indigestion is a condition that is frequently caused by eating too fast, especially by eating high-fat foods quickly. Symptoms of indigestion are as follows: A pain or a burning feeling in the upper portion of the stomach Feeling sick to one's stomach; nausea Feeling bloated Sometimes uncontrollable burping Heartburn A bitter taste in the mouth from stomach acid coming up into the esophagus. Antacids neutralise excess stomach acid, and can provide temporary relief of indigestion.

You eat more, because it takes a little time for the message that your actually full, to travel to your brain.

Gas, over eating, indigestion and dis-satisfaction with your meal. You can trap a lot of gas in your stomach if you eat too fast. Your stomach won't feel full, until you over-eat (it takes time for the stomach to register that it is full), and you won't enjoy the meal which could make you want to eat again soon.

well firstly you dont chew your food properly and that leads to incomplete digestion of the food in the mouth(the break-up of food begins during chewing both mechanical and chemical) which leads to large pieces of food getting into your esophagus (the tube going from the mouth into the stomach) that might cause discomfort. Also when you eat a lot in a hurry your stomach secretes acid at the same pace which might lead to over secretion and gastric pain.So its best to chew your food properly
